Went to Blockbuster on my lunch break...

Just killing some time on my lunch break, so I went into Blockbuster.

They had all of their previously viewed Blu-Rays marked at $16.99. They had them in two or three areas of the store. And in every one of those areas, they put up a big store-printed sign that read:

"Great deal on Blu-Rays...2 for $34.98!!!"

I know there's a joke in there somewhere, but I didn't have the heart to inform them that they were bad at math...

maybe they were thinking lets sell two of them for less than double the cost of just 1 just to sell more of them - im sure they still make a profit off of them...

its like when department have sales and something is $8 or its 3 of the same thing for $20.....

That is what I was thinking, I don't get what the big deal is.

It's always stupid when they have

1 for $9.99 or 2 for $19.98, which you will see some places.

no, we know that $16.99 x 2 = $33.98

so if you buy two at once you are paying a dollar more than you would if you bought one and then walked out, walked back in, and bought another one...

they are preying on peoples need to have as much as possible and their laziness to get the best deal....

I used to work and at Albertsons and we would always have a 10 for $10 sale and those items would be $1 a piece without buying 10 items but some people didn't understand that would buy 10 items to get them at $1 a piece and that's how I figured out why they made the sale a 10 for $10 sale instead of a $1 sale

lol...ya. Just like at walmart the Kit Kats are 2 for $1 but I always get one for $.50.

I was mad though the other day when I went to K and G to buy a suit. It was 2 for $300 or whatever so I figured I could get 1 for $150 and the guy helping me even said I could. By the time I shopped for a shirt and tie to match it....tried it on, got fit for it so they could make alterations, I had spent about an hour. Went to check out and they told me I HAD to get two seuits to get the deal. I had spent too much time and was just like...screw it.
