happened today - I like it.

Two minor rule changes also were adopted:

• If a fumble or backward pass goes out of bounds, the game clock will start when the official places the ball in play.

• The NFL eliminated a second onside kick chance if the first onside kick goes out of bounds. The competition committee believed that bad onside kicks should not be rewarded with a second opportunity.

I like that the draft order is changing. If you make the playoffs, you get a lower pick than those that didn't. San Diego will be drafting ahead of five teams that missed the playoffs this year.

What if you get a draft pick from a trade, will that not be honored? Meaning say you were set to have the 29th pick in the draft, but through a trade you pick up the 10th pick, would that still be allowed

draft picks via trade are not effected by the rule, it is simply reseeding the play-off teams based on where they finish in the play-offs instead of record
