I think it'll be the usual suspects: Gilmer, Celina, Carthage, Liberty Hill, West Orange-Stark, Abilene Wylie, Cuero, and my darkhorse for the upcoming season, Mexia.

6 on defense

and the running back is still enrolled at bridgeport. however, he is no longer in athletics. i heard he plays select baseball though. a very talented athlete. defense should be pretty darn good. offense has a lot of young ones.

Port Isabel,Rio Hondo, or Hidalgo...Possibly La Feria could raise some eyebrows.

I'm almost positive Rio Hondo would like to get at Giddings again...just cause of "The IS HE DOWN play?" LOL.

I have to admit offensively my 'Cats were going punch for punch with the Buffs offense, but the RH D didn't help the 'Cats cause.

I'm sure RH's HC will remedy that this offseason.

Port Isabel's got some size. Now if only they can manage to put the other pieces together...they can be a force.

Hidalgo picked up Coach Kirk from Houston St.Pius this offseason...they'll be improved.

La Feria will be hard pressed as they've lost their QB duo that got them to the Regional Final. But, they got some momentum in their program after this past season.

If Bridgeport returns with their officiating crew, they are set for a deep run in the playoffs.
