i been able to do live updates since 2001 as the place i work has had this capability with PDA/smartphone. Back then it was a TREO and we were one of the companies testing it out for business use but i also use it for updating HS games ;)

The phone i use is a HTC Mogul and my employer Toshiba has also given me a Laptop with sprint card. I do updates 95% of the time on my phone if indoors i use my laptop or a for sure no rain day.
