It is to no one's surprise in this area. It was only a time before he returned to his alma mater with the sucess he has had.

I don't know what the Robstown situation is though. I don't know if their head coach is staying or going.

If he can make Mathis a winner...along with Jones. He'll pick up where Davis left off. Possibly getting them further into the playoffs.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to play against Mathis when he was the HC in '98. Let me tell ya...we had about equal talent, but we weren't well coached at the time. We got our behinds handed to us.....but the following year RH ended up in the playoffs. So, it was a blessing in disguise to play a better team like Mathis.

Alice, IMO, is one of the more sought after jobs in South Texas. He'll have the Coyotes ready no doubt.

I heard the school board rejected his resignation and was trying to get him more $$$...
