The Woodlands concerts are played in Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion across the street from my office. The pavilion is an outdoor ampitheater that is being rebuilt after the hurricane to include 6,000 seats under cover (i.e. tent awning) and around 8,000 on the grassy "knoll". Obviously the cover is better and has fans, but no matter where you sit in August in the Gulf Coast area it will be HOT! Seats for the grassy knoll rented for $5 last time I was there.

By the way......... I saw Poison in the late 80's when they really hit it big. They were in Abilene (Krokus opened for 'em), and absolutely brought the house down! It was freakin AWESOME!! :2thumbsup

Side note....... I have a "Gene Simmons" guitar pick in my dresser. Front row baby!! :D . Saw them twice in Abilene.

Also saw Bon Jovi, Ratt, Wasp, Cinderella, Motley Crue, 38 Special....few others I can't remember ( lots of drinkin back then :D ) .

It was cool. But, I was entirely too close to the stage. I know I
had to help hand atleast two people over the railing so security
could get them medical attention for exhaustion. I was soaking
wet with sweat by the time the concert was over and could
barely hear. I told myself that I'd watch from the cheap seats
from then on out.

And when it comes to disagreements with men---

From "Paint Your Wagon":

Pardner: What happens when you get in a fight?
Rumson: Well, if four of anything come at me at one time, you might lend a fist. Up until that I can pretty well take care of myself.

I like a lot of the lines from this movie. Lee Marvin was hilarious.

I always thought Bret Michael's was hot...but he has turned me off with all those skanks he's always trying to hook up with.
