The University Interscholastic League (UIL) recently announced that North Forney High School would compete in District 12-3A during the 2009-2010 school year. North Forney High School and Forney High School will be realigned into new districts at that time.

All sports at North Forney High School will compete at the varsity level during the 2009-2010 school year except for football which will compete as a junior varsity team.

The JV football team at North Forney would probably still beat Crandall's varsity if they played next season...

Yeah, Frank Buck Zoo. That's about it for up there. However, Keith might remember a special cookie factory up there.

I did a sales call up there a couple of weeks ago. You'd be surprised at the new HS. Kids wearing ties to school and it's not even in the dress code. Gainesville ISD is changing and it looks to be changing for the better.

That may be true at some places. But that's now the feeling I got from the kids there. It wasn't just one race that was dressing that way. It wasn't just one group of kids either. All seemed respectful and very polite.

But baseball is boring.

The biggest addition to forney was our huge new park full of baseball fields that just opened......

So Forney is now really really boring
