Our girls had a good showing at Mira's this year. Won all 3 of their pool games to advance to the championship bracket. In bracket play we lost 1-3 to Killeen Shoemaker, beat SA Highlands 9-1, beat Burbank 1-0 and then lost to Moody in the consolation game 0-3.
The game against Moody was very good considering we lost to them 10-0 the first time around! We had bases loaded in the first inning, no outs and were unable to score any runs. :doh: :(
We were tied 0-0 after the time limit and per tourney rules went to the international rules in the next frame. Moody was able to capitalize on an error and basehits to score their 3 runs. We had the top of our lineup up, but were unable to get anything going.
I really think this was a great tourney for our girls heading into district play on Tuesday.
