Mullins, comes to Harker Heights High School from C.H Yoe High School in Cameron, Texas where he has served as Athletic Director/Head Football Coach from 2003 to the present. I love how KMIL pretends to not even care. They don't even bother saying the home town coach is gone they just say another town has hired someone and its not a top headline....

What will Cameron Yoe do? Stay inside or open it up?

I wouldn't say we didn't care Nick, that was just the story that Killeen ISD emailed to us.

More than likely open it up, In MY opinion there's no one inside the school district that has a history of HC, that wants to..

Oh Ranch...been to a few trust me. Is Cameron headed to 2a??? Can they still compete for a district title year in and year out??

I belive they can, and I don't think heading in the direction of 2A has anything to do with the quality of athletes in the program.

Have heard for a long time, student pop is dropping, 2a is likely. What is your observation. Your right, athletic ability has nothing to do with A's. But, the district they are in right now sure does have some athletic ability!! A former head coach on staff, Sapp, will he be the man again, or do they open it up??

Nah, I've talked to Sapp, and he doesn't want to get back into it. They'll open it up. but yes student population is dropping, but even so this past year I'd say we kept up with the more "athletic" schools in 24-3A

Sapp is a great guy and coach. Good luck to the Yoeman finding a new leader.

I will be very curious to see what direction Cameron Yoe goes with the coaching hire...

At one time, this job was one of the Best in the State of Texas...

The community support for athletics seems to be down from it's hey day. It will be interesting to see if that changes with the new coaching staff...

It probably isn't the top in the state anymore but, I think its one of the top jobs in Region III.

I wonder if Mullins takes any of his asst. coaches with him, or if new AD brings in a whole new staff?
