Am I the only one who finds it excitingly strange that we are playing the same team at the same place at exactly the same time in the state semi-final game as we did last year? The difference this year is that the records are reversed: Jasper is 11-2 and Burnet is 12-0. (I think)
We were highly rated last year as Burnet is this year. We all remember who won that game. Just a thought.

jdawg85...Burnet is 13-0. Both teams were highly rated last year and this year as well. Isn't Jasper in the top 10, don't want to put a number because it might be wrong? This is going to be one, tough, hard fought game. One thing for sure...Bulldogs are going to win! :D wink :D

Thanks for the correction. I remember very well last year when we moved down to 3a many were saying the state title was ours. The same thing many are saying about Burnet this year. The circumstances of this weekend's game just has a weird reversal of role's, in my opinion. Just something to think about.

There are more reversals. Last year Jasper had a senior laden team and Burnet had a junior laden team. This year Burnet has the proven seniors, and Jasper is playing primarily a junior and sophomore lineup. Does Jasper even have a chance? I think they do, same as Burnet last year! But it will be a mighty big hill for Jasper to climb. :) Go Jasper Dogs and may it be an injury free game for both teams.

I looked at the TSRN website and it doesn't look like the game will be webcast, though. Considering how rainy it will be here, that sure would have made my Saturday a lot more interesting. Oh well...it'll be fun watching the SEC and Big XII championship games. :D

Just go to the Burnet website and listen to it. Just do both listen to the Burnet game from the computer while at the same time watching college football.

Burnet was 13-0 when they played Jasper last year. They were ranked #1 after beating Sinton the week before.
