La Grange run rules Shiner 10-0 last night, record now 9-0. After going undefeated in the Brenham tournament and looking at the schedule could be a while before someone knocks them off. Strong pitching, defense and solid hitting from 1 to 9 will make them hard to beat. District competition should be stronger to get them ready for the playoffs.

Don't count your eggs before they hatch. Looks like they have some tough competition this weekend. Nederland (ranked 1 in 4A), Little Cypress-Mauriceville (14th in 4A), Elgin (ranked 7th in 4A), Port Neches Groves (18th in 4A), and El Campo. Then they will play Katy Taylor before District and they are ranked 15th in 5A.

LG is playing well, but they are just like any other team....beatable on any given night.

Did not notice they were playing in 2 Brenham tournaments, If they do play the teams listed it will really benefit them competition wise. Will need to play good ball to win.
