Lubbock Estacado

Just noticed that both the boy's and girl's teams of Luboock Estacado are still in the basketball playoffs thru the quarters for the boys, and the state tournament for the girls.---very impressive.

Saw their girls play against Burnet, and they can put it thru the hoop---especially their 6'1" post who can hit inside or outside.

Have not seen the girls but the boys are nothing to mess with. They have always had talent, however about a decade ago they got a coach that took the program to the next level. His assistant is now running the show and they have not missed a beat. Now they are talented kids with some discipline and drive and it aint fun for opposing teams. If they stay 3a I would expect a state title from them w/in the next five years.
