Lakers drop their 2nd game in a row, losing 118-111 to the Phoenix Suns. Shaq led the Suns with 33 points. Kobe Bryant scored 49 points for the Lakers and Gasol had 30, but not much help from their teammates. One interesting stat, Kobe had a team low <-11> in the plus/minus catagory.

The "Wild West" is getting a little tighter with the #1 Lakers & #3 Denver losing today and the #2 Spurs getting blown out by #5 Portland. The Rockets at #4 defeated Minn, #6 New Orleans over NJ, #7 Utah is looking for their 8th win in a row and #8 Dallas should defeat Toronto at home.

They get a couple of easy games at home, but then must travel to Portland, Houston & SA. They might of peaked too soon or just getting bored until the playoffs.

Good win the other night against the Spurs. I suppose a little watered down without Duncan and Manu though.

"The Lakers and the other teams are getting through with their last slumps as the playoffs get close" said the Sinton GodFather while on his way to the snack bar for a cup of coffee.

Things getting a little tighter in the West as only 3-1/2 games separates #2 SA and #8 Dallas. Teams 4 through 8 are only a 1-1/2 games a part.
