Right now Texas leads the Aggies 7 to 4 with 10 points needed to win. I don't expect it to be a 9.5 to 9.5 tie now since the only split points left are softball which I expect the Aggies to sweep and get the full point. Yesterday both teams split the Indoor Track and Field points with UT winning the men's Big 12 championship and the Aggies winning the women's Big 12 Championship. This was a pleasant surprise because I expected the Aggies to sweep and this was a big boost for UT.
I still expect the final results to be close like a 10-9 or 11 - 8 type thing. I think UT will get the Tennis points and the Men's Golf point. The baseball point could go either way. I expect the Aggies to get all the other points.
The only event in March will be March 7 at noon in Austin where the UT and Aggies will have the Women's Tennis match for the point. We will see.
I think in the remaining sports the points will be hard to come by and the competition fierce.
