Wild... ball is shot and bounces straight up, lands on the flat part of the rim and stays there. Refs have to bring in another ball to move it. Never heard that one before.

End of 3rd quarter now

Brownwood 50
Brownfield 47

Brownfield dominated in the 4th. Lots of points for them at the free throw line.

We had a small 4th quarter lead but Brownfield wins 73-59

Great Basketball season Lions. Thanks for a fun year!!!

Now Brownfield takes on a tough Lubbock Estacado team next week.

Wow, kinda shocked at that score.
Not so much as Brownfield winning, but the margin of victory.

I honestly thought 2-3A would go a little farther than what they have. Both Wylie and The Wood are out, only the 3rd place team out of that district is left. (Graham)

yea me to. I thought that Wylie was going to come back but, shots didn't fall. Oh well. Still a great season for the district. After all I don't think anyone will beat out burk for the region though

The thing about the final score is we were down by 5 or 6 and started intentionaly fouling to get the ball back but Brownfield made 100% of the free throws in the 4th. I think their last 8 points were from the line so the final is kind of misleading.

However, a loss is still a loss

Burk is tough, but Region I is pretty salty this year.
Can't count out Lubbock Estacado, and there could be some darkhorses out there too. Wylie was a very good team and for Seminole to take them out shows me something. Ditto for Brownfield.

Yea that is how it goes. A team can be down 4 points and have to start fouling. Anways again good job and great season in b-ball. So well here comes the best sport up nexy anyways. BASEBALL-should be another great matchup in district!!!
