Good Luck to the Defending Region III Champions, Navasota Lady Rattlers!!!!
Lady Rattlers V. #4 Waco Robinson
Tonight at 8 pm, Huntsville SHSU in the Region III Tournament.
Last season, the Lady Rattlers handed the Rockettes a 42-35 loss on their way to the State Championship Tournament in Austin. How will the young Lady Rattlers handle the defense of Robinson? The Lady Rattlers are loaded with juniors and sophomores. In fact, everyone will return next season. If the Lady Rattlers can have the same type of defensive performance that they had against #8 Orangefield, I really like their chances.
Navasota's district foe, Madisonville Lady Mustangs, are also representing District 24 3A. The Lady Mustangs take on the #1 team in the state, The Diboll Lady Jacks. Good Luck Madisonville!

Tipoff is set for 7:30 @ Conroe Caney Creek High
This is the third consecutive season that the Rattlers and Hawks will tangle. Two seasons ago, the Hawks handed the Rattlers a 7 point loss as the Hawks eventually won the 3A state title. Last season, the Hawks got a last second tip in to top the Rattlers by 1 point. This game shouldn't be any different than the past two years. Hopefully, the Rattlers can get it done this season. I like the Rattlers' chance this season!

PS, we really need to work on scheduling the boys' game around the regional tournament. It sucks that we have to choose tonight which game to attend.
