Does anyone know how Columbia did yesterday at the Hit and Run(BB) and B'wood(SB) tournaments??

WEST COLUMBIA — Columbia scored in each of the first three innings and then rode the pitching arm of Jarret Johnson to secure a 7-1 victory over Fort Bend Marshall in Thursday’s opening round of the West Brazos Hit and Run classic.

I knew that one!!! I know they played 2 yesterday and the lovely paper only covered 1.

Columbia beat Pasadena Memorial 1 to 0.
Natalie Rodriguez hit a solo HR in the 1st.
Shelby Parker had 17 K's.

Columbia beat Manvel 11-0.
Natalie Rodriguez hit a 3 run HR.
Shelby Parker with the shutout.

Columbia lost to Danbury 2 to1 in 8 innings. ITB was used.
Shelby Parker gave up one unearned run. The second run was due to ITB.

Columbia tied the game with two outs in the 7th inning on a single to center by freshman Heather Vaughn.


Columbia will play three more games on Saturday at the Bwood Tournament.

Did Baily graduate or is she not pitching anymore? I think that was her name? Cami's backup?

Her family moved to San Antonio area, she was dominating at the 5A level with Smithson Valley as a junior last year. She has signed to play with University of Houston next year.

Yes and I believe Cami is playing college ball for Central Arkansas. Not bad for a lil' ol' 3A school!:clap:

Nope, not too bad.

Sinton's 4 year starter is pitching and doing very well at Blinn this year.
