Great game today between SA and Cuero -1-0 Cuero won . Complete game 4 hit shutout thrown by Arndt with some good defense behind him in all the wind that was whipping away .

no joke about the wind........ I think the entire Gobbler team did a good job on offense and defense but I'd like to give a special "shout out" to the left fielder, James Olsovsky. He made some great and critical catches with that wind whipping it up pretty good.

How did we go from 20 runs and several home runs to scoring just one run the next game? I guess good pitching really does beat good hitting or at least keep it beat down.

Game 4 - Cuero beat Floresville 12-0 in 6 innings

Jennings Boothe- winning pitcher 6 innings - allowed 1 hit

Cuero scored 8 runs in the 6th inning..

The wind was knocking balls down in the outfield all day. It was hard to hid a HR into that. Sat. morning was a lot calmer. Troy Ruiz hit a solo shot.

The pitcher from SACS was good with his off speed stuff. When you have a good hitting team like Cuero face a slow pitcher, it kinda throws you off. Other than cuero, SACS is the best team in the Tourney. I would like to see them play again!
