Don't know score but giddings beat rogers earlier today.

I will give updates during the rockdale game.

Buffs playing well early, if they can build on that with the talent and pitching we have, it could be fun.

Giddings took good care of rockdale. 10 run rule in 5 innings.

Giddings 11 Rockdale 0

Masek pitches a no hitter, 13 K's
"Brooksey" Marlow (sophomore) hits second HR of the tournament. Buffs batted around in first inning. Good job also to the new catcher (you had to fill big Socha shoes) but you are coming along great & improving at each game.

Giddings will face Waco Robinson @ 7:30 pm Saturday for the Championship.

Keep those bats hot. Looks like T-Y Marlow may be the one left to pitch for the Buffs. The playoff run & sr leadership last year has boosted the confidence of this young group. They are fun to watch. Keep it going Buffs.

Giddings falls to Waco Robinson in Championship game 7-4

Walks, batter hit by a pitch puts Rocket runners on, Nice HR seals the deal for Waco Robinson late in the game after being down 4-1.

Giddings has good first couple of innings but leaves runners stranded and sits on 4 runs for too long. Walks and some fly ball errors (swirling wind at least 25-30 mph) lets Waco back in the game.
Ethan Kmoch and Brooks Marlow named to All Tournament Team
Ty Marlow named Tournament MVP.

Good tournament and competition for early in the season.

Buffs play @ St Stephens in Austin and then on to the Sealy Tournament.

Pitch by Pitch. Keep it going Buffs

Robinson prefers you drop off the "Waco"! To coin a popular phrase, "We ain't WACO!!!"

"Robinson" is off to a good start going 5-0 in the tournament and 6-0 on the season. The Rockets play their only pre-district home game Tuesday night.
