Celina moves up to 3rd in softball poll

Celina jumped into the top five of the Texas Girls Coaches Association's first in-season poll on Tuesday.

The Lady Cats (7-0) climbed five spots to No. 3 in Class 3A as the rankings expanded to include the top 20 in each classification.

Elsewhere, S&S Consolidated held onto the No. 6 spot in 2A while Bonham and Dodd City entered the 3A and 1A rankings at No. 12 and 18, respectfully.

Frisco Wakeland also joined the 4A poll at No. 15.

I diddnt think tournament games went on your win/loss record.Because of time limits and such. Maybe schools differ , but we only have actual games on our overall record. No big deal just wondering

Tournament games go on the overall record...as long as the game goes at least 4 complete innings.
