Bellville vs. Needville basketball

It really wasn't that great of a game till the final 5 mins or so. Needville's big gun spent most the game on the bench in foul trouble and eventually fouled out.... Bellville had a little guy that was drilling 3s from everywhere on the court. In my opinion the refs were horrible...but isn't that always what the losing side claims? :doh:

The game was close early. It was 18 to 18 and then there were like 5 back to back to back fouls called on Needville and Bellville was able to jump out front by what was an 8-10 point lead I believe and even drove it up to a 14 point lead at one point. Towards the end of the game Needville got within two.

The last few mins. were good.

coach collier had his team ready to play, looked like new team compared to last two games, free throw shooting was fantastic, and todd williams #31 was 7-8 at the three point line
bellville had about a ten point lead the whole 2nd half but at the end it got a little too close on some clutch threes by needville

For some reason, I don't recall Giddings ever being a dominant baseball program? Can't see them having a better program than any other team in the district. This district is stacked with at least sucessful programs, not sure about the rosters yet. I'll be making the 15 minute trip to sberg tonight for the game.

ok ya'll won our district....and you get beat in area after a first round bye....so why you were sitting in the stands watching us play....we were on our way to the regional semifinals
