This one oughta be a real "war" between two fierce, longtime district rivals. The last district game between these two teams was very close. These teams play some of the toughest, most physical Bball that you will ever see girl's teams play.

BASKETBALL SHOWDOWN TONIGHT - The only Wise County high school girls basketball teams still in the hunt for a state championship will battle tonight in Denton in a highly-anticipated rematch. Decatur and Bridgeport will clash for a third time this season in a game that has much more on the line that the first two meetings won by the Sissies. The Class 3A regional quarterfinal game is set for 7:30 at Texas Woman's University. The winner will move on to the regional tournament Friday and Saturday in Lubbock. Results of the game will be posted following the game at www.wcmessenger.com. ALSO, Bridgeport's FOCUSBHS broadcast program will have an Internet radio broadcast of the game tonight at http://www.focusbhs.com Click the link at the top of the page to listen. Pregame broadcast will begin at 7:15 p.m.
