Game went pretty much as expected. Columbus slowed the pace. I think Bellville's offense touched the ball 3 times in the first half.
Columbus kids played smart, didn't make many mistakes and stayed in the game until the end of the 3rd quarter. They double-teamed Goeke the whole night but he did manage some catches and a touchdown.
Bellville looked flat. Had six fumbles and lost 2. Good job with all the distractions during an off week. But we'll have to step it up against Navasota.
