One of the more colorful characters in the game over the last 25 years or so. By all accounts he was a good man who helped out a lot of people through the years. I'll remember him for, among many other things, the kindness he showed to Derek Fisher in allowing him to walk away to find a city where his daughter Tatum could get the medical care she needed. That just doesn't happen in pro sports, it just doesn't.
