The Ballinger boys gave real good effort considering the circumstances. I know that they are going to be able to put things together to make a run. Good luck guys!

They had several players suspended for this game (discipline reasons).

Ballinger was missing 2 two way starters including a 3000+ yard rusher from the past 2 years, in addition they were missing two other one way starters and 2 other backups that usually see playing time. 5 were out for disciplinary reasons and one was out due to injury. They only suited out 19 kids for the game. I thought that the effort was there but it is difficult to have that many starters out of the game.

Looks to me to be a tremendous effort by 19 young men. They should hold thier heads up, no reason at all to be ashamed.

I'm sure that Vet93 can tell you that Wall is never a pushover, either.

You hate it when those things happen such as missing games. Vet--remember my son too was yanked from the first two scrimmages because of a violation of a team rule. He has been good ever since! The point taken from the coaches is that you will all follow the team rules no matter what. No matter who you are. It sets a good precedence and the kids know that they are held accountable for their actions. Hopefully, lesson learned, just glad it happened before district.
