If it wasn't for a shorten Career J.R. Richards would be on there. What about Cesar Cedeno? Possibly the best all-around player we've ever had.

Nolan Ryan could probably make this list as well...what about Berkman or Oswalt for their roles on the World Series team?

Roy O is a definite possibility. With his 129-64 record, he'll probably become the Astros all-time winningest pitcher this season, surpassing Joe Niekro's 144 wins

Billy Doran was a hell of a player - the inspiration for Biggio. Maybe not Rushmore material...

Don Wilson was also an awesome pitcher when they really had no talent on the field

Bagwell, Biggio, and Berkman. No need for a fourth yet.

I AGREE WITH THIS ONE... ALTHOUGH THESE ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT I CAN REMEMBER FROM THE ASTROS...

I think Jim Wynn should be in there as well but who does he replace?

Can you do a poll on here that allows you to pick 4? That would be interesting to see what shakes out. The following could be the list to pick from

Jeff Bagwell
Lance Berkman
Craig Biggio
Cesar Cedno
Jose Cruz
Larry Dierker
Roy Oswalt
J.R. Richards
Nolan Ryan
Mike Scott
Bob Watson
Don Wilson
Jim Wynn

I put Dierker in there because of his 37 years of service to the organization. 13 as a pitcher(1964-76) 19 as a broadcaster (1979-96, 2004) and 5 as a manager (1997-01). also his service to the Astros continues as he is the proprietor of Larry's Big Bamboo, a bar located behind home plate at Minute Maid Park
