Over-rated, but sadly the best place in Beeville now that The Oaks has closed.

There isn't much to do.....used to be able to skydive there, and then there was the Texas Grande.....but other than that...not much. Good area to hunt if you can find a lease.

Similar. New owners. New restaurant called The Lodge standing on what used to be Shorty's Place.

There's plenty of time to be spent on internet forums. :(

I would say move somewhere just out of town but not too close to the jails. Just my .02... Blastoderm should give some good insight.:)

yea but it's not as good as the Falls City Shorty's but I thought it was pretty good - we had been at a baseball game in 110 heat all day so maybe I was just delirious :D

Any big baseball tournaments in this area? lots to watch, some of the best in the state. Moody, Calallen, Robstown, Sinton, Fal, Alice, Ray. Any of which can challenge for the title.

Mira's in Corpus hosts a tourney in preseason. Usually draws some very good teams.

I travel to Beeville for my job at least 1-2 times a month.

It's a nice quiet little town. It reminds me of my hometown of Lampasas. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay!
