Coach Owens is a first class individual and a great coach. I was saddened when he left Ballinger to go to Monahans but did not blame him for taking the job.

Great to see a small West Texas town, great coaching staff and school get recognized. With the last two coaches of the North team coming from West Texas this speaks volumes for the Permian Basin area. Congratulations to Coach Owens and his staff.

I agree here this is great for Coach Owens and staff and the school that he works for is very proud and glad he is in Monahans. This is big for West Texas and small school programs run a program the right way and great things happen. Congrats to our Lobo Staff also this one will be fun.
