Bellville has its first scrimmage today in Huntsville. D25 should be as competitive as the other D25 sports. One or two at the top, and the others fighting for that 3rd spot. Bellville has a good pitcher and catcher combination, but may be a little weaker this year than in the past.

Yes, Bellville does have a really good pitcher. I'd like to see her go on to the next level.

I think D26 might be the most heated followed closely by D25. D28 & D29 might also come down to the wire.

District 25
Bellville*
Columbus*
Giddings*
La Grange*
Sealy*
Smithville
*5 teams will contest for 3 playoff spots, Sealy is senior laden, La Grange with strong pitching and returning talent is the heavy favorite, Columbus has strong defense, Giddings has speed and strong offense, Bellville has strong pitching but lost a lot of experience to graduation and Smithville is still short on overall strength for this district.

District 26
Brookshire Royal
Needville*
Stafford
Sweeny*
West Columbia Columbia*
Wharton*
*Needville is hands down favorite, with Columbia, Sweeny and Wharton all now capable of securing the other two playoff spots.

D26 should be interesting for sure...then the bi-district matchups as well.

La Grange has the whole team back from last year, should be able to make a good run in the playoffs this year and next year.

Her travel team website shows she is going to play at A&M. Duckhunter's info is outdated.

I had heard some of the same rumors Duck must have heard and thought the same. Best of luck to her at TAMU.

Best of luck to her at TAMU. duck had heard this. duck does not keep in the loop like fbb does with every single random bellville athletic rumor. i simply repeated what i had heard straight from the softball players mouth. granted it was last year. take it or leave it. i dont care nor does it matter to me
