. i would include Aransas Pass in that group also as they have a good pressing defense. West Oso is the favorite they're loaded this year.

I'd like to see a West Oso / Stafford matchup....I know common opponents can only tell you so much but....

West Oso 46
Sweeny 43

Stafford 53
Sweeny 50

Stafford 60
Sweeny 53

Orange Grove 59 Ingleside 49
Aransas Pass 90 Falfurrias 61

District standings after tonight
West Oso 11-0
Aransas Pass 10-1
Sinton 7-4
Orange Grove 7-4
Robstown 4-7
Mathis 3-8
Ingleside 1-9

Stafford 60
Sweeny 53 Seen Sweeny and West Oso earlier in the year, as far as West Oso i wasnt to impress the two games i saw them in begining of the year but they didnt have all their players playing as they have a deep bench from what i've seen lately.
Sweeny had trouble against a team with a big guy as far as taking control of a game but they stayed in every game til the end in games i saw them in at Calallen tourney.

Sweeny went 1-3 in that same tourney with losses to West Oso, Calallen and Flour Bluff. AP beat Flour Bluff by a good margin. Flour Bluff i think was undefeated in thier district in 4a. Just showing West Oso and AP could be 1 and 2 in Sweeny and Stafford district :D

Hmmm....I don't know man.

I'd be willing to bet Stafford could beat AP.

:D

I wonder when we'll start seeing "possible" brackets? I'm curious as to the rest of the state and "who's who".

Congratulations to the SINTON PIRATES on winning tonight! Rita had me worried when she sent a text at the end of the game saying "They won 66-58"...I didn't get a text from her for several minutes saying that "they" meant Sinton. I was a bit confused because her text after the end of three said y'all were up 45-40!

Yeah, I was distracted when I sent that text! haha

Big win for the Pirates tonight. Don't lose focus boys....3 more games that need to be played and while the next 2 might seem like "easy wins" those are always the hardest to actually win! So keep after it!
