They defeated Athens tonight 42-29 to keep there hopes alive.





district looks like this:

crockett: 5-1
Athens:4-2
Westwood: 3-3
Fairfield: 3-3
Brownsboro: 3-3
Palestine: 0-6

How good is the fairfield football team. I heard they were 1-9 in 2007.

I'd say a little below average. In 06 and 07 we were completely uncompetitive, 1-9 two years in a row. This last year we went 3-7.

Our overall record didn't dramatically improve but the team actually starting playing competitive football for the first time in a couple of seasons. We lost several close games that went down to the wire.

I think we now have the right staff in place to hopefully guide us into the playoffs in a year or two.

Well, thats great. I have always felt sorry for the kids who try hard and care about the game but play on a bad team.
