Potential line-up for the RANGERS this year:

1. (SS) Andrus
2. (3B) Young
3. (2B) Kinsler
4. (OF) Hamilton
5. (DH) Blalock
6. (1B) Davis
7. (OF) Murphy
8. (C) Saltalamacchia/Teagarden
9. (OF) Cruz/Byrd/Boggs


The lead off spot and the 9 hole could swap. Just depends on how Andrus hits.

Doesn't look too bad. Let's just hope the pitching can come around.

Washington has already stated that if Andrus makes the team, he'd bat ninth.

More likely, it will look like this:

9. Vizquel/Andrus

I'm still pretty concerned about having a 2nd good hitting outfielder. Murphy is more of a slasher; we need one of those other guys to hit with more power. Hopefully Cruz has figured it out this time.

Obviously, pitching is a concern. I also think what happens with Andrus and Kinsler defensively is a huge story. Just like every sport, you have to be strong up the middle. I think andrus will be a very good SS eventually, but there may be some growing pains early. And I just can't figure out why Kinsler is such a butcher.
