I guess if things hold up and y'all win the 2nd time around as well then Van Alstyne might be the team we'll open up the playoffs with.

I don't think it's going to matter who you play in your first game as long as you're not looking ahead to Argyle in the second one.

Hey Catgut, can you give us a scouting report on the girls in 10-3A? Looks like Commerce, Paris, and PNL are all pretty close. We will most likely be playing one of those teams in the first round.

I've saw all three teams and I rate Paris and North Lamar pretty close and I'd say both are a little bit better than Commerce. Paris lost to North Lamar in the last few seconds. North Lamar is usually very strong in girls basketball. Paris is very young. There is not a senior on the team and one or two freshman play a lot.
Just my opinion but I'd say North Lamar will win district with Paris in second.
Paris plays hard and will press the whole game. I don't care to see them do that when they have a big lead but I'm not coaching them. We have two sophmore guards that are extremely quick. Probably our best girl inside is a soph. also so you can see we don't have a lot of experience. Our predistrict record was pretty bad.
