Do you remember when your high school started using music to run out of their tunnel and/or run through sign??

One of my cousin's remembers running out to music in 1993, but another cousin doesn't think Sinton had "run through music" until 1999.

Anyone from Sinton remember? I wasn't living here at the time so I don't know!

wow, i thought more teams did this?

maybe i'm not explaining it right? our boys walk out to Hells Bells and the bells will play until they are in the tunnel and even play a little before the band strikes up the fight song. does no one else do this kind of thing?

I think all the added piped in music takes away from the atmosphere a little. But that may just be me. I'm still old school. It really bothers me more at college games. I miss the days when the bands played more music in the stands. But now the jumbotrons have to show a bunch of highlights and promotional things which takes away from it. I used to go to a bunch of SMU games, and I swear back in the 1960s, that band played Peruna nearly non-stop. As a little kid, I would go to sleep with it still playing in my head.

I don't think I have ever been to a game where other than the band played for run out purposes.

We just play the fight song at Madison. Our fight song is "Get Ready" by The Temptations. I like the uniqueness of it and that it also pays homage to another era in the school's history. They have to cut it short for the national anthem, but play the entire song after we score.

Jasper play's the fight song due to our horrible PA system. Speaking of the band I recent years it has not been up to par, what's with that lol.
