I've been trying to find out some info on Reg IV girls basketball. Any feed back from you guys? We've got active posters from District 25, 26 and 31 on the downlow. How's your district race shaping up?

West Oso - 1st
Ingleside - 2nd
Orange Grove - 3rd

Our coach tells me our girls are not out yet, but if they don't win Tuesday, I'd say it were a safe bet

What's the scoop in District 25 and District 26?

The only thing I know about D25 is I don't think the Sealy girls have won a game. To their defense they have a good coach and I believe 4 freshman get serious playing time. They will be tough to handle in the next few years.

wow - if they have 4 Freshman and a good coach - they should be a force to reckon with in a year or two.. thanks :)

Yup Brantley turned the boys program around and then switched to girls. Lets hope he can do the same for them.

Met him once, seemed like a very good person. Nice weightroom by the way.

After first round it is Giddings,La Grange and Smithville. Will most likely end that way unless LG beats Giddings at home which I think they will.

District 26 is being dominated by Wharton, Stafford, and Brookshire. All three are real athletic. Wharton is very FAST!

Wharton handled Stafford and Royal pretty easy. Wharton could be a force to be reckoned with, providing the girls "stay together" and don't self destruct.

Hidalgo is pretty good. Although everything may or may not be "by the book"
