What is the real draw to jobs such as Brownwood and Sweetwater?? Has anyone noticed that the head coach at Wylie has never moved on, and I am sure he could have, but he has built a power no doubt. He was once the head boys bball coach as well and a darn good one.

The draw to Brownwood and Sweetwater is simple, one school towns, lots of tradition, community support, decent to great facilities as for Sandifer I think he's a rarity for staying at Wylie as long as he is....they are lucky to have him

I understand that totally. Then you have the other end of the spectrum......openings almost yearly at places like Hillsboro and Whitney. What gives!!

Hillsboro has athletes, not sure why they don't win on a consistent basis...the right guy can go there and win.

It's somewhat confounding to watch how they struggle, but appearances are somewhat deceiving with Hillsboro. They have some good individual players, but they never have enough of them.

Casey Creghan tried to win there, could not, that tells you alot. He is as good as they get.
