District 2 Softball and schedules

How does every ones team look this year? Looks like we have a lot returning. Only graduated two (catcher and right field) and have a Freshman that played left field last year that is not playing this year, also lost our coach. Not too many positions to fill but with new coach, who knows, everything could (and might) change.

Also looking at our schedule, We play Aledo on February 9th. Weren't the number 1 in the nation for a while last year. I know they lost their all everything pitcher to Baylor but a team that strong must have some serious talent returning.. I guess we will find out a lot of things on that day.

What did yall do last year? Playoffs? District?

8-2 in district for 2nd place. Waco Midway was in our district and they did not get scored on for the entire distrct. They run ruled every game in our district except one of our games that they beat us 5-0.

We lost in the first round to a team that we shoulda/coulda beat but did not. Hoping for a better year this and at least go several rounds. It would be a nice way for my daughter to end her softball.

Weather was great. About 60 degrees. I dont think it will be that way tomorrow though.
