I made it back home to Sweetwater a short while ago. We buried my sister yesterday after a long week of hoping and praying. It took a couple extra days to get her home to Port Lavaca, due to her donating her organs. I know for sure her 2 kidneys as well as many veins/blood vessels where harvested, not really sure what else.
I want to Thank Everyone on the Downlow for your prayers, PM's, messages left on Caring Bridge and silent prayers. It helped so much to log in and read the replies from all my friends on this board!! Our mother was so impressed, I heard her mention it to others during the week.
She realized that it wasn't some "crazy internet thing"...that it is a family of friends that care and take care of each other.

Don't worry.....I will be back to normal in a few days ,,,,,,,,,just in time to start talking about the new HC at Sweetwater!!!
