More money (assumption on my part), closer to his family, a chance to rebuild a program. Sounds like a great opportunity to me.

I don't think anyone has ANY doubt that Soza will apply for the Alice job. I haven't been paying attention, has he already resigned at Beeville? I had heard he was gonna leave in December, but haven't heard for sure if he had.

I guess I mis-read - I thought he meant a lateral move from Alice to San Angelo..... :p (since that's what I had on my mind, I wasn't even thinking about the "other coach" going to Alice) :)
