Mavs lose 133-99 to the Bucks while the Rockets defeat Utah 108-99. Houston was still without T-Mac & Artest, but have found a player in Von Wafer. Remember his name, he's not a cookie & not a cracker, he's Von Wafer.

Artest has been cleared and could play on Friday. T-Mac could be back in 2 or 3 games.

It's good to see that someone else has stepped their game up....even more impressive that they were able to beat Utah w/out two of the "stars" as Utah has had the Rockets' number as of late....specially in the playoffs. Good win Rockets! :)

Since the start of the 2009 year, Von Wafer has been putting up some very good numbers for the Rockets. In that span, he is averaging 16.9 points, shooting 50.9% and is hitting almost 41% from behind the arc. He has also played very good defense and brings some much needed athletic ability.

He's also hit some clutch shots.

Hit a big 3 last night against the Jazz. He scored 16 first half points, but nothing was bigger than that late 4th quarter 3. The kid bounce around the NBA with the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets & Blazers, but is taking advantage of a great opportunity with the Rockets. The past knock on Wafer was his inability to shoot, but I think that has been corrected.
