At risk of throwing up in my mouth...I'm not going to click on that link.....but lemme guess....USC is the greatest college football team ever and each time they DON'T win a Nat'l Champ. they got robbed?

Well they used math an not just personal opinion. So USC and ND are probably not going to be 1-2. It's only up to 11 right now

It's only 11-15. The rest will come out tomorrow(6-10) and Friday(1-5).

I guess I'll have to wait until Friday to see where Michigan is ranked.

In that case they should take away points for major bowl losses

I can imagine. It looks like it's going to be a few years before
Michigan football is relevent in the Big Ten again. So, her parents better
enjoy it while it last.

I wonder how this list would look if you just took the half century of football from 1908-58? I suppose the Ivy League, Army, Navy and Notre Dame, and probably Michigan would be at the top. Maybe OU would be close because they were so strong in the 1950s. But SMU would definitely be a lot higher than its current rating.

I think for the most part a real solid ranking..Couple of teams could be flipped, but 1-10 pretty solid

It's more the most successful programs, OU is hardly the most prestigious program. Should have counted off more for infractions

Prestigious - having a high reputation; honored; esteemed

Two former Big 8 teams in the top 5. Not bad

Not Texas. Getting players arrested left and right will do that for you. Although it has been awhile. Probably a record.

I don't know coach. We beat those two teams the last time we played them.
In fact Texas has done very well. We beat four of the top five the last time we played them. In the top ten (only counting the ones we played) we were 6 - 2. In the top 15 we were 10-3and against the top 20 we were 14 - 4.

Our only loss the last time to one of the top 5 teams was Notre Dame and that was in OT.

Not bad.

Even as a UT fan I cannot put Texas at #2..they went FAR to long between National titles. From about 83-98 they had become a very average team to below average who would show up out of no where for a year or two then sink back down.

Notre Dame

Alabama
