I realize Boyd isn't having a great season this year, but an 86 point loss? Man you don't see these types of scores that much at the 5A level.

Strake Jesuit in Houston is really good. That might be who you are thinking of. Their big rival up here in Dallas is good, but they haven't come remotely close to a performance like this. They lost to Plano West by 22 and Boyd lost by 35 to West. I'm guessing someone folded the tent in this one because it makes no sense for a 5A, although not a great one, to get beat by 86 points.

I really don't know what the point is of beating a team like that, but oh well.

I guess it's hard to say too much though when our state title team in 1997 ran up the score on a regular basis. I still remember seeing highlights of the Forney game on the statewide highlight show when Madison beat them very badly. If memory serves correct it was 119 to 45.
