piece of crap! :foul:  :foul: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g22/hollyeclark1/073abde0.gif :bigcry:

I seriously want to go Office Space on the stupid thing. :(

It never fails. When I am busy and need to get things out in a timely manner, my stupid printer goes haywire! It has shut itself off and rebooted itself 3 times in the past 20 minutes!!! ARGH! :weeping:

I need a drink...

Just bought a Brother MFC-589-OCN for my office and I love it.

It faxes, scans directly to email, prints and copies. Reasonably priced at staples for $199.00:D

Yep, I used to have one of those on a jobsite. It also was a piece of crap. I bet it didnt last even a year before crapping out.
Just chunk it and go get something else.

gotta love the timing

because my printer shuts itself off for no apparent reason and then boots back up, it goes through the registration process all over again. mind you, this printer is AT LEAST 18 months old. i stopped going through the process after about the 5th time (yes, i know...save your smart ass comments)

anyway....

guess what i find in my bulk folder in email?

Okay, it is now time for a new printer!

What are some of the printers you guys/gals use?

I don't need or want anything fancy, just something RELIABLE!

I've been looking at Canon & Epson. Any reviews from anyone out there that might have one? Recommendations welcome! :D

hewlett packard's are the best - you just got a lemon...

i have one of these in my office and it's been great - it is even network ready...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828104637

a package of all colors and the black cartridge is also only like $40....

if you REALLY want to go outside of HP, i would look at xerox - they make a quality product too...but they are pricey....

link to b/w xerox all-in-one (http://www.office.xerox.com/multifunction-printer/multifunction-under-30ppm/phaser-3200mfp/enus.html)

that is just my opinion, but what do i know - computer's arent my thing.....

I had the same HP and it was junk. Then went to a Canon, didn't like it either but better than the HP. Traded the Canon for an Epson Artisan 800 and LOVE it. Best feature, if you have wireless in your house, all computers connect to it wirelessly to print.

A beautiful thing.

I think I just have bad luck with computers & printers! :( This is my 2nd Hp printer on my 2nd PC in 7 years of working here. LOL.

BUT

in my defense...I did NOT pick out the PC or the printer.

I WILL be picking out the new printer. :nerd: I really like what I'm reading about the Epson printers. :)
