This district I'm assuming will be won by Paris with Van Alstyne and Anna making the playoffs as well? Does that sound anywhere close to being correct?

That's what I'm predicting. I know Paris only beat Van Alystene by one point in the Sherman tournament but I've seen Van Alystene play other games and I don't think they can hang with Paris if Paris plays anywhere near their usual game.
I really don't know that much about Anna so looking forward to seeing how their game tonight comes out. I know they have Paris at home Friday night.

Paris played easily our worst game of the year. The first quarter was a good one then we just were there for the last three. Final was Paris 49 North Lamar 45.
If we play like this against Anna or Van Alystene we will be on the short end of the score.

Anna didn't play their best game either. We always seem to have problems with our Hwy. 5 rivals. Last year Melissa, this year Van Alstyne. Seems like the boys choke.

Sound like district is pretty much up for grabs. Whoever wants it bad enough better get their act together and go get it.

We never play our best game against North Lamar in any sport. Both schools are in this same small town only about four or five miles apart. All the boys pretty much know each other and the fans pack the stands whenever they play. I think we just get too tight when we play them.
Friday night should be a good test against Anna. I've heard from some of the North Lamar fans that they have good size and play really hard.
