It was, but oh well. It goes both ways. Being the favorite team of the league office gets us a lot of calls in Lakerland. Tonight was just a meaningless regular season game. Well I should correct myself and say meaningless for the Lakers, not the Spurs.

Sorry regular season wins aren't exciting to longtime Laker fans who are used to winning. Even had we held on, winning tonight against the 3rd best team in the West meant nothing.

you act like the spurs are not use to winning...hell they actually have the latest championship between the 2 teams so I am pretty sure the Spurs fans are used to winning in the regular and post season

Didn't see the game, but SA had a huge advantage going to the free throw line. Very surprised that the Lakers only shot 11 free throws, when just the other night, they shot 24 against Houston. In that game, the Rockets only went to the line 8 times, 0 in the first half. Kobe benefitted from many phantom calls where the defender did not even touch him. NBA officials need to stop giving the special treatment to their star players and try to call a more fair game.

Of course us Spurs fans get excited about winning. Its called supporting your team...instead of just waiting for the playoffs to watch.
