Snow, Snow, Snow

Over here in Germany we have had two weeks of below freezing weather. When I say below freezing, I mean zero degrees at night for a couple of days. It was crazy. No wonder the bears sleep for months during the winter. Anyways, here are a few clips from the snowstorm this morning. We got around 4 inches in just a few hours.

Man......I wish we could see some of that around here. My youngest daughter doesn't even remember the last good snow we had, on Valentine's Day of '04.....I believe.:dispntd: Those are some pretty pictures.

It's supposed to get below 0 tonight where I am, but no snow. It was 15 the last time I checked about 4 hours ago. I think the high tomorrow is supposed to be 21.:(

Where abouts are you King rob. My daughter is over by Ramstein AFB and I wonder how bad it is there.

I'm 7 minutes from Ramstein! We are having a cold and snowy winter this year. More snow this weekend. I like the 4 seasons, but this last cold spell just about had me packing my bags. I like to talk long walks in the woods, and it was so cold, it was just impossible. I had on long johns, sweats, t-shirt, Hoodie, winter hat and two sets of gloves, and it was still cold. I was going crazy being exiled to the house, and needed to get out. It's warmed up a bit the last couple of days, but now the snow comes! Friends have asked me to go skiing, but I told them that If I'm going to spend money on a vacation, then I'm going somewhere with heat (from the sun). I'm thinking beach time!! Come on Summer!:D
