My vet told me they want $ 700 bucks to neuter my dog!!!! They say they do it with a laser and its a non-invasive procedure. I asked them about the invasive procedure and they said they dont do it that way. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

We found that the SPCA does a low-cost neuter clinic. We took our dog there. $35, and it was in McKinney.

We have started using a Vet in Colorado City for the past couple of years now. They only charge $25 to spay and/or neuter, and they are very good. In fact everytime we have gone there we see people lots of people from Snyder and Sweetwater. Our Vets at Sweetwater are a ripeoff to, but $750 is a major ripeoff. I think the Sweetwater Vets charge around $250.

Poor ol' male dog. Everytime I hear about somebody neutering their male dog, I always think of the scene from "Dr. Doolittle" with Eddie Murphy when he is dragging his dog on a leash to have him neutered and the dog keeps saying to him---"No man, not my manhood" and then when the vet takes his temp---"Heeelllllllooooo."

For reals they are trying to rip you off, people have fixed dogs for hundreds of years just like they do sheep and cattle. Just get a sharp knife and some lidocaine.
