That is sad news. Sympathy to the family. One thing for sure. He had a great long life and enjoyed several state football championships in his lifetime at Cuero. We in Sinton haven't been able to get one.

Mr. McWhorter will always be in our prayers I've known him since I was 18 years old. He was a passionate man who loved his family, community, Gobbler Sports and everyone who's lives he has touched.

I just have to share this story. I went to GobblerGranGran's funeral this afternoon. It was a gorgeous afternoon. Perfect weather :) He would have loved to have been on the golf course playing golf. Anyway - I was talking to our preacher, Debby, before the service and she was telling me some of the stories the family had shared with her and she brought up the internet and this message board he liked to 'hang out in' - I told her it was called "the 3adownlow" so yes folks, the 3adownlow got a "shout out" in the eulogy at GobblerGranGran's funeral. There were quite a few giggles and I saw his grandson smile. Just thought I'd share.....:) Rest in Peace Mr Mac :)
