Same here. I don't see what the big deal is about texting. I mean, think about it:thinking: , you've got a phone in your hand........why not call? I much rather talk than type......:D

I'd much rather type than talk.

OMG -- last month I had 7817 text messages!!  That was Nov 17-Dec 16, peak football season! haha

This month Dec 17-Jan 14, I've used 4539 and my month ends on Friday.

Because if you call that means you have to drop absolutely everything you are doing.

 Oh, okay. To each his own.......I just never used that option. How much more expensive is it to have text messaging than it is to actually talk on the phone? Just curious.

Getting updated scores from football games is MUCH easier via text than trying to hear the score, while standing in a stadium with screaming fans, from the person on the other end of the phone who is standing in a stadium with screaming fans!!

$10 a month for unlimited.

If you talk on the phone you use up minutes since they are not unlimited.

Another good reason. You can't call someone during halftime, to loud. But you can carry on a text conversation the kill the half hour

I have unlimited, too...around 7,000 last month. Fun fact to know...unlimited plans do not apply to texts from a cruise ship...not even for important things like an unmentional # of texts sent and received during the state semi-final game!! However, since I asked that the subject be dropped and never brought up again in my home...I have nothing more to say about that.

I usually average around 14,000 a month.
