It seems to be the same every year, the Poll people always tout the folks that play weaker teams and build these inflated undefeated records...Last year both Champs LaGrange and Gatesville were not considered very well by these same folks. These mathmetical "load" formulas just don't work that well-you have to know the level of competition, what the score was at the end of each quarter, and a dozen other criteria. There are plenty of teams sitting at home this weekend because they were lulled in thinking they were invinceable by their Poll ratings, who had only beaten average level teams. When they met teams that had played someone of skill they went dead in the water. Look at the teams that survive this far and you will see some loses in their records, many times.....these loses have caused rethinking and improvements that cause wins in the playoffs!

If your team was undefeated you would be arguing the other side. If your team is still playing in week 14 they are probably a very good football team. Records go out the window.....You are really searching for something to talk about, Turkey....

You know SOFA, That arguement "that if you can only beat Sweeny in the second round you will prove you have a team" and "if you can only beat Vernon you will prove you have a team" or in Newton's case "if you can only take Sealy you can prove you have a team". Now its win the 14th game and "you will prove you have a team." That's all a bunch of baloney; however, I agree with the other Gentleman-luck has something to do with just being there.
